In the past there have been guided tours of host cities organised through the FA and the locla British Embassy. Do these tours still happen and who do we need to contact for further information please?

Oliver, I'm one of these people who join walking tours rather than buying a book. I find it more interesting to learn the history of a city through a local guide than by reading a book - often written by a foreigner, based on 'local sources' - and wandering around. The said guide - who is often a student in the city I'm visiting - can also recommend good places for drinks and food (yes, I'm a lightweight), far away from tourist traps. Places recommended on guide books are always very dubious to me. I live in a city which is FULL of tourists, so I know how this works.
